Because of a false accusation, Dr. Joaquin Olivar and his wife Marina are forced to flee to a remote and wild island. Here, Dumagit was born—a child who grew up knowing no other world but nature. Despite his unknown origins, Dumagit grew up free, strong, and skilled in the wilderness, until a woman enters his life.

Dr. Federico, Raul, and Clarissa will also arrive—bringing conflict and mystery to Dumagit’s quiet life. What is their true purpose? As he faces these unexpected visitors, he begins to ponder on his true origins—is it in the forest that raised him or in the real world his parents once left behind?

Originally published in Pilipino Komiks in 1953, this masterpiece was later adapted for the silver screen by Sampaguita Pictures. Directed by Armando Garces, the film starred Cesar Ramirez in the title role, alongside Lolita Rodriguez and Myrna Delgado.
