About the Series
The new series of Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) is in line with the Revised K to 10 Curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd). It aims to equip learners with lifelong learning skills that enable them to be productive individuals, ready for the world of work, and to contribute to achieving national goals. This series provides an avenue for learners to explore and develop different skills that will prepare them to choose a career and make them eligible for certification nationally or globally. It covers four components, namely:

  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT),
  • Agriculture and Fishery Arts (AFA),
  • Family and Consumer Science (FCS), and

Industrial Arts (IA).

  • Time to Work – Activity that will allow the learners to apply what they have learned


  • Final Checkpoint – Tests taken by the learners to gauge what they have learned at the end of the unit
  • More Practice – Remediation or enrichment activity/ies taken by the learners to meet the expected learning standards.
  • Work Showcase – Grand performance task
